There will be two minutes added on at the end of this first half.
89'
Jesús Vallejo goes off after a red card!
STRAIGHT RED CARD! Well it's going to finish 10 against 10 here at Estadio Fernando Torres as Jesus Vallejo is sent off for an incredibly reckless two-footed challenge on Milla! A bit of late drama here, though it shouldn't do anything to change the shape of the tie.
88'
SMART SAVE! A thumping free-kick from Cata Diaz finds its way through on goal. It's struck with real power, but Casilla gets across to make the save and then scamper over to collect the rebound with two Fuenlabrada players lurking!
87'
Fuenlabrada need to focus on getting through to the finish line here without further damage being inflicted. After such a strong showing in the first half they have been starved of possession in the second, failing to muster any sort of attacking threat - and are now down two goals and one man.
85'
STAT: No player had a hand in more goals for Real Madrid this season than Marco Asensio (8: 6 goals, 2 assists. Level with Cristiano Ronaldo).
84'
D. Díaz gets yellow.
Yellow card Daniel Alberto Díaz
83'
That should be curtains on Fuenlabrada's Copa del Rey campaign. They still get their dream trip to the Santiago Bernabeu at the end of next month, but it will likely matter little as far as the result, barring an unprecedented shock.
81'
F. Feuillassier enters the game and replaces A. Hakimi.
Real Madrid make their first change of the night now as Achraf Hakimi is replaced by Franchu.
80'
Penalty goal scored by Lucas Vázquez for Real Madrid!
GOOD ENOUGH! Not the most convincing penalty from Lucas Vazquez, who rolls a tame strike under the arm of Codina, who dove the right way but just couldn't get his hand down to keep it out!

Description
79'
Paco Candela gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
That's Candela's second yellow card in just seven minutes on the pitch, and he's off!
78'
Another penalty to Real Madrid! Candela is the culprit this time as he drags down Theo in the area as a corner is whipped in, and the referee doesn't hesitate in pointing to the spot. There was definite contact, but it was a bit of a soft one as the Real Madrid winger certainly made the most of it.
77'
INCHES WIDE! Vazquez makes a good diagonal run into the centre, takes a crisp lay-off and looks to pick out the far corner from 20 yards, missing the bottom corner by fractions as he had the keeper beaten!
75'
STAT: Real Madrid have won all five of their away matches this season, scoring at least two goals in each of them – but only keeping one clean sheet.
73'
Paco Candela gets yellow.
Immediate contribution from Paco Candela, but not the one he would have wanted as he goes into the book for a foul.
72'
Paco Candela enters the game and replaces Hugo Fraile.
The hosts' final change sees Fraile replaced by Paco Candela.
71'
NEARLY THE SECOND! A swift attacking move from the visitors sees them come inches away from doubling their lead, but Codina does excellently to keep out Mayoral's header at full-stretch!
69'
Full credit to the hosts for not folding after conceding that opener, but there certainly is more life about Real Madrid now. They're taking the game forward with great intent finally, searching for that second goal to put this game - and likely the tie - to bed.
67'
Well Fuenlabrada have it all to do now. The odds are really stacked against them now in this tie, undone by a controversial penalty decision after such a valiant display through the first hour. It's a backbreaking goal to concede, but let's see if they can rally here.
65'
STAT: Fuenlabrada have kept three clean sheets in their last four matches at the Estadio Fernando Torres, conceding just one goal (W3, D1).
63'
Penalty goal scored by Marco Asensio for Real Madrid!
NO MISTAKE FROM ASENSIO! He sends the keeper the wrong way, lashing a strike into the bottom corner to break the deadlock at the Estadio Fernando Torres!
62'
Fran García gets yellow.
Garcia is booked for the foul.
61'
PENALTY TO REAL MADRID! Achraf does well to get beyond Garcia on the flank and break towards the penalty area before being dragged down from behind. It's a clear foul, but the replays show that it came outside of the box so this is a stroke of bad luck for the hosts!
59'
The return leg of this tie will be played at the end of November at the Santiago Bernabeu, and you have to think that should this match end goalless, Zidane will name a more experienced side to get the job done the second time around. They have 30 minutes still to find an opener, but it's not looking likely.
57'
Pressure slowly starting to increase on the Fuenlabrada goal, and the threat of those chances has been amplified as well, but the visitors still remain searching for the clear-cut opportunity they crave.
55'
STAT: Real Madrid’s last three Copa del Rey away matches have produced 18 goals.
53'
Y. Annor enters the game and replaces Juan Quero.
A second change here for the hosts sees Juan Queto replaced by Yaw Annor up top.
51'
Possession firmly with the visitors in the opening five minutes of this first half. Full credit to them for remaining patient despite the game not going according to script. It would be real easy for them to grow frustrated and lose their composure.
49'
Real Madrid hoping to pick up where they left off at the end of the first half, a spell that finally saw them threaten the Fuenlabrada goal. They are on the front foot once again, though they're being held to the periphery as Asensio and Mayoral continue to be starved up top.
47'
Back underway at the Estadio Fernando Torres!
46'
Portilla enters the game and replaces Dani Fernández.
The hosts make one change at the break as Daniel Fernandez is replaced by Alvaro Portilla.
45' +1
HALF-TIME: FUENLABRADA 0-0 REAL MADRID.
45'
There will be just one minute added on at the end of this first half.
44'
FIRST BIG CHANCE! Terrific strike from Llorente, who had been looking for that quality for some time now! He latches onto a pass at the edge of the box and cannons a half-volley at goal, but Codina gets the slightest of touches to turn it onto the bar and behind for a corner!
43'
Vazquez is lucky not to go into the book following a cynical and late challenge just inside the defensive half. The resulting free-kick is ambitiously sent into the area by the hosts, but it gives Casilla more than enough time to come out and claim.
41'
Another block! Fuenlabrada don't clear their lines effectively following a Real Madrid corner, which presents Llorente with a shooting chance from the edge of the box, but he can't navigate his strike through the crowd of bodies!
39'
STAT: Real Madrid have won just won of their last five away matches in the Copa del Rey (D2, L2).
37'
Good period of possession for the hosts, who are looking assured in their attempts to get this game into the interval goalless. From there, confidence will only continue to grow and they can start taking one or two more chances going forward in an attempt to break the deadlock.
35'
The majority of Madrid's possession is coming just inside the attacking half, between that and the fringes of the final third. When they do break into the final third, it's always been out wide, with options lacking in the centre. They need to change their approach.
33'
Much of the same happening here, as Real Madrid are finding no joy on the front foot despite the hosts keeping just eight behind the ball now as they keep their eyes on the counter. Another hopeful shot, this one from Llorente, sails over the bar.
31'
Plenty of possession with no results for the visitors. There's just no killer instinct in this Real Madrid side at the moment. They look a bit lethargic, lacking that drive and determination they need to break down this stubborn defence.
29'
STAT: This is the first meeting between these two sides in their history.
27'
It's all been very limited in attack as we approach the half-hour mark. Real Madrid are still searching for their first shot on target, as Fuenlabrada continue to stifle them in attack. They need to dig deep here and remain patient.
25'
Ceballos winds his way through midfield and opens up to have a shot from 20 yards, but his effort is blocked in the area and turned aside. For all Fuenlabrada's great work in this first half, conceding that first goal would really be a dagger.
23'
Having been starved of possession for much of the opening 10 minutes, momentum has swung in the hosts' favour. This has been a very assured performance from them at both ends, and you would have to imagine just how rapidly the confidence will be building in their side.
21'
Real Madrid march up the pitch with ruthless efficiency and win a corner, but the ensuing delivery is scooped up safely by Codina. This is not how the visitors envisioned the first 20 minutes playing out, surely.
19'
STAT: Fuenlabrada are unbeaten in their last 11 matches across all competitions (W9, D2).
17'
Another free-kick opportunity for the hosts sees another dangerous ball whipped into the box. Real Madrid have been far from convincing in dealing with these deliveries thus far, and that's the case again here, but they are let off the hook as a result of the offside flag.
15'
Real Madrid have weathered the storm, but confidence has certainly grown for the hosts. They have a long way to go here, but certainly they have provided some reason to believe.
13'
The first shot of the match falls to the hosts! Atienza is virtually unmarked as he allowed to latch onto the end of the corner, but his effort is corralled nicely by Casilla, who also prevents any rebound.
11'
Villalba does well to win a free-kick for the hosts in an attacking position on the right flank. The ensuing delivery is terrific, and Real Madrid just barely manage to knock it behind at the far post before Casilla collides with Achraf, who is in need of some attention before the corner can be taken.
9'
Tidy break there from the hosts, which really gets the crowd going. Vazquez's run into the area is snuffed out and Fuenlabrada break quickly, making it all the way forward with three crisp passes, but the fourth lets them down as an attempted throughball runs safely through to Casilla.
7'
STAT: Real Madrid have scored in their last 34 away matches across all competitions, dating back to a goalless draw at Manchester City in the Champions League in April 2016.
5'
Possession being dominated by Real Madrid since the off, but no opening to be found for them just yet. The hosts have defended admirably, but it's coming at the expense of their options in possession as they have everyone parked behind the ball.
3'
It's far from a packed house in the Estadio Fernando Torres, with large pockets of vacant blue seats scattered throughout. That's not what you would have expected with Real Madrid in town, but those in attendance are doing their best to make it a rowdy atmosphere.
1'
AND THEY'RE OFF! Fuenlabrada get us underway in their blue strip, attacking right to left, with Real Madrid in white.
Hello and welcome to live coverage from Estadio Fernando Torres as Fuenlabrada host Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey!
Trophies are far from foreign to Real Madrid, but Copa del Rey success has been somewhat of late, with Los Blancos winning the competition just twice in the last 24 seasons. They have won LaLiga eight times and the Champions League six times over that span.
There’s no popular theory as to why they have struggled so much in the domestic cup, though it could likely be attributed to Real Madrid rotating their squad so much in the competition as it takes a back seat to other, more lofty goals.
Fuenlabrada will be up for the occasion, which is essentially a Madrid derby, as they host the defending Spanish champions at the Estadio Fernando Torres, which is in fact named after Fernando Torres, the town’s most famous son.
The third-division side sit second in Segunda B, sandwiched between Deportivo La Coruna and Celta Vigo’s B sides, with Real Madrid Castilla also in the same division, though they’re all the way down in 15th place. What an occasion this is for Fuenlabrada and their supporters.
CONFIRMED TEAM NEWS:
REAL MADRID (4-4-2): Casilla; Achraf, Nacho, Vallejo, Tejero; Vazquez, Ceballos, Llorente, Theo; Asensio, Mayoral.
Zinedine Zidane is without a number of first-team regulars, some through injury, as he opts to rotate his side for this last-32 clash. Marco Asensio and Borja Mayoral lead the line, with the bulk of their experience tonight provided by winger Lucas Vazquez, centre-half Nacho and back-up keeper Kiko Casilla.
Coach Antonio Calderon has rotated his side as well, making six changes from their victory at Rapido Bouzas at the weekend.
A confident display from Fuenlabrada has kept out high-flying Real Madrid through 45 minutes, in a first half bereft of much attacking quality. Marcos Llorente had an effort turned off the bar late on for the visitors, while Kiko Casilla saved a Miguel Atienza header early on, the only two chances of note in the first half.
A pair of second-half penalties, scored by Lucas Vazquez and Marco Asensio, will provide Real Madrid with a healthy advantage to take back with them to the Santiago Bernabeu for next month's return leg. A lethargic first half was followed up by an entertaining second at the Estadio Fernando Torres, with Real Madrid scoring twice and both sides having players sent off, but it's the quality of the visitors that shines through in the end as they take this first leg comfortably in the end.
That's all for our live coverage, thanks for following along. Goodbye!
