There will be three minutes of added time.
GOALLLLLL!!!! ASENSIO SCORES A SCREAMER! Real have a third goal this evening and could take a two-goal advantage to the Bernabeu. Asensio finds the net with an eerily similar strike to Ronaldo, although he hits the ball with his left foot with power into the top corner. Pique was once again trailing and Ter Stegen could do nothing to stop the strike from hitting the back of the net. A super finish.

RED CARD! STUNNING! Two minutes after handing his side the lead Ronaldo has been sent off for a second bookable offence. The Portuguese battles for the ball in the box with Umtiti and goes down. He wants a penalty and initially it looks as though he has won his appeal. However, the referee brandishes the yellow card at him for simulation and the red quickly follows, sending him on his way. He's furious with the decision, although had vanity not got the better of him after his goal, Ronaldo would still be on the pitch.

The visitors hit Barca on the break and Isco released Ronaldo into the channel. He squared up Pique before shifting the ball on to his right foot before smashing his strike beyond the reach of Ter Stegen into the net. Outstanding.
78'
The game is open now as Messi finds space through the middle and he sends the ball wide to Suarez to strike. He goes for the bottom corner, but his effort trickles past the post. However, the goal would not have counted as he was offside anyway.
77'
Penalty goal scored by L. Messi for Barcelona!
GOALLLL!!!! MESSI OPENS HIS ACCOUNT FOR THE NEW SEASON! The Argentine is cool from the spot as he levels the scores. Messi fires the ball into the net, sending Navas the wrong way.
Minute
Description

75'
SAVES! Messi goes for the strike on the edge of the box, but Navas does extremely well to parry his effort. Denis Suarez reacts to the rebound, but the keeper is on his feet and makes the follow-up stop. Outstanding from the Real man.
74'
WHAT A MISS! Real get themselves in a mess at the back as Denis Suarez is allowed to bring a looping ball under control. He doesn't get the shot away, but the ball falls kindly for Busquets to strike after Navas slips. However, the midfielder hammers his effort over the bar from 12 yards - a staggering miss from the veteran.
72'
Suarez squares the ball into the path of Denis Suarez on the left. The Uruguayan wants the return pass, but the midfielder goes for goal, only to strike a tame effort at Navas. It would be an understatement to say that the forward was not happy with his team-mate.

64'
Vidal raids down the right flank this time and sends a low cross into the box, but there are enough blue shirts behind the ball to clear the danger.
63'
OFFSIDE! Poor from Suarez as he gives up on a forward run as Vidal attempts to play him through. He is caught fractionally offside, had he bent his run slightly he would have been through on goal.

Carvajal gathered at the back post and fired towards the net, but he was denied by his compatriot on the slide.
53'
CHANCE! Rakitic sends Vidal down the right flank and his low cross beats everyone in the box. Deulofeu gathers at the back post, but he can only curl his effort wide of the post. That was a huge opportunity for the Spaniard to level the scores.
52'
Real press down the left through Isco once again and Barca can only clear behind for a corner. Zidane's men are in the ascendancy.
50'
Piqué is unfortunate, scores an own goal!
GOALLLLl!!!!! REAL TAKE THE LEAD! A nightmare fro Pique as he sends the ball into his own net. Barca failed to properly clear their lines from Kroos' corner. Marcelo was allowed to raid down the left flank to fire a low cross towards the near post and the defender could only steer the ball past Ter Stegen into the net.
49'
Carvajal drives down the right flank and wins a corner for the visitors off the legs of the backtracking Deulofeu.

37'
SAVE! Isco weaves his way down the left flank and he sends a low cross into the box. Bale meets the ball first time to strike on his left foot, but Ter Stegen reacts well to turn it over the bar.
35'
Suarez and Iniesta attempt to combine through the middle, but the Uruguayan fails to get enough on his flicked pass through to his team-mate. Suarez hasn't been on his game so far, but he can come to life at any moment.
33'

27'
Piqué gets yellow.
HANDBALL! Iniesta swings the corner in from the left flank and Pique meets the ball with his hand, sending it wide of the post. He's fortunate to escape a booking there as he made no attempt to head the ball.
Scratch that. Pique is booked for deliberate handball. That was needless.
26'
Messi releases Deulofeu down the left with a brilliant throughball, but the Spaniard cannot in turn find Suarez in the left channel. He keeps the attack alive and Barca eventually win a corner as Alba's cross is deflected wide.
25'
CLOSE! Messi goes for goal from the free-kick. He gets plenty of power on his strike, but it lacks the dip to sail under the bar, drifting narrowly over Navas' goal.
24'
Messi goes to the ground again this time under the challenge of Bale. The referee awards Barca a free-kick 25 yards from goal, although there was less in this tackle than that of Casemiro's a few minutes ago.
22'
A few challenges are just starting to fly in, with Benzema guilty of nudging Vidal away from the ball. Hopefully it raises the intensity of the contest.

Casemiro is booked for his challenge on Messi. It wasn't the best of tackles.
18'
WIDE! Kroos sends the ball out wide to Isco who takes on Vidal one-on-one. The Spaniard displays quick feet to cut inside, but the Barca defender does enough to force the winger to fire his shot into the side-netting.

13'
Barcelona are starting to build a rhythm now to counteract Real's high press that had initially forced them back in their own half.
11'
Messi has his first run of the game and he feeds Suarez on the edge of the box, but the forward goes for the step over rather than a shot, allowing Real to clear.
10'
SHOT! A ball over the top of the Real defence finds Suarez in the left inside channel. The Uruguayan controls before shooting with his left foot, but Navas makes a comfortable stop.
9'
Iniesta loses possession in his own half and Isco picks out Bale in a threatening position. However, Umtiti wins the ball with a strong challenge, while Alba mops up the danger to deny the Welshman.
7'
The visitors clear their lines from the corner and are able to bring the ball to safety. A tame opening from the Catalan club thus far.
6'

REAL MADRID (4-3-3): Navas; Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Marcelo; Kovacic, Casemiro, Kroos; Isco, Bale, Benzema.
BARCELONA (4-3-3): Ter Stegen; Vidal, Pique, Umtiti, Alba; Rakitic, Busquets, Iniesta; Messi, Suarez, Deulofeu.
The team news has been announced and we'll start with the home side.
Barcelona begin the campaign to re-establish themselves as the top side in Spain without Neymar. The Brazilian has left for pastures new in a world-record deal to join Paris Saint-Germain, leaving Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez to mount the charge for success.
Real have already added to their trophy cabinet this season by defeating Manchester United in the UEFA Super Cup. Goals from Casemiro and Isco delivered the victory during the week, kicking off the term in style for Los Blancos.
Good evening and welcome to the live commentary of the Spanish Super Cup clash between Barcelona and Real Madrid at the Camp Nou.
New Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde names Gerard Deulofeu as the man to replace Neymar as part of a three-man attack. Samuel Umtiti gets the nod ahead of Javier Mascherano in the heart of the defence, while Aleix Vidal returns to the fold from injury at right-back.
Zidane has made just one change from his side that beat United during the week. Luka Modric drops out of the side and is replaced by Mateo Kovacic, while Cristiano Ronaldo remains on the bench as Isco, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale continue as the strike force.
Valverde will be desperate to make a strong impression in his first El Clasico. Barcelona are holders of the Super Cup and the new man in the dugout will not want to hand the trophy over toe their rivals in his first two matches in charge.
The two sides last met in the Super Cup in 2012 when Real emerged the victors even though Barca won the first leg 3-2. Jose Mourinho's side battled back at the Bernabeu with strikes from Gonzalo Higuain and Ronaldo to win the contest on away goals as Messi's solitary strike was not enough.
Barcelona won the last contest between the two sides in LaLiga earlier this year at the Bernabeu. The match was a thriller as Real battled back twice to level, despite the dismissal of Sergio Ramos, only for Messi to snatch the three points at the death.
The players are making their way out on to the pitch, so we should be underway shortly.
HALF-TIME: BARCELONA 0-0 REAL MADRID
It's goalless at the break at the Camp Nou as neither Barcelona nor Real Madrid have been able to find a breakthrough. Real have come closest as Gareth Bale's effort was tipped over the bar by Marc-Andre ter Stegen. Ernesto Valverde's men have had brief moments, but he will want to see a dramatic improvement in the second half.
The players are back out on the pitch, so we should be underway again shortly.
FULL-TIME: BARCELONA 1-3 REAL MADRID
Real Madrid have control of the Spanish Super Cup after the first leg, despite the dismissal of Cristiano Ronaldo. An own goal from Gerard Pique put the visitors ahead, although Lione Messi equalised from the penalty spot. However, the response was emphatic from Real as the Portuguese scored a brilliant goal with his right foot, only to be booked for his celebration and then received his marching orders for a second bookable offence for simulation. Despite their numerical disadvantage, Zinedine Zidane's men notched their third goal as Marco Asensio drilled in a third goal, handing his side a two-goal advantage in the tie. Ernesto Valverde's team have a huge challenge ahead of them to overturn the deficit in the Bernabeu on Wednesday.
Thanks for joining our commentary this evening. Until next time, goodbye.
