Đ. Ivanović enters the game and replaces T. Asano.
A final change for Partizan as Asano comes off for Ivanovic. A decent performance from the former Arsenal player, but he was more bark than bite and didn't couple his electric pace with any end product.
FULL-TIME: PARTIZAN BELGRADE 0-1 MANCHESTER UNITED.
90'
Asano into Pavlovic inside the box, but his cutback is blocked and Partizan have another corner. Natcho takes, but Jones heads it clear.
We're into three minutes of added time - is there a final chance in this for Partizan?
89'
S. Zdjelar gets yellow.
James has a chance to break and speeds away from Zdjelar in the centre of the pitch and the Partizan midfielder brings him down to stop the counter. He's shown a yellow card for his foul.
87'
Partizan have another corner - their seventh of the game - and it finds its way to Natcho at the edge of the box, but his shot is high and doesn't trouble Romero.
83'
L. Pavlović enters the game and replaces S. Soumah.
Another change for Partizan as Soumah comes off for Pavlovic. A quality performance from the Guinean midfielder, causing United numerous problems with his passing.
82'
Andreas Pereira enters the game and replaces J. Garner.
Solskjaer makes his final change and brings off Garner for Pereira. What an intense venue to make your first senior start in and Garner did well to manage the occasion.
81'
It's Sadiq again, into Soumah who progresses the ball forwards. He can't pick a pass, but does manages to win a corner. It's short from Natcho to Soumah, but there's a wall of United players in the way of the subsequent cross.
79'
Asano has bags and bags of speed, but lacks some end product. Multiple times in the game he's led counter-attacks and motored away from United defenders, but either the cross is poor or he makes the wrong decision and decides to shoot when he should pass instead.
77'
A short United free-kick sees Garner pick out Lingard for a cross towards Maguire, but Partizan clear. It's a chance to start a counter through Asano, but nothing comes from it.
75'
F. Stevanović enters the game and replaces Z. Tošić.
Partizan make their first change of the game and bring on Stevanovic for former United man Tosic. He didn't make much of an impact in a disappointing performance.
Minute
Description
74'
It doesn't seem to matter as they keep possession and work the ball back up to Soumah, who lays off to Sadiq for a shot, but it's wide. It has some serious power on it, though!
73'
Here's United in possession, but they give the ball away and Partizan break again. Sadiq takes on Rojo, but he has his head down and doesn't spot Asano on the outside.
71'
Partizan were maintaining pressure superbly and had United firmly penned into their own half, but a foul from Natcho on Garner leads to a United free-kick and relieves the pressure for them.
67'
N. Miletić gets yellow.
Again Partizan appeal for a penalty - Miletic's header from a corner hitting Williams on the hand! No VAR in the Europa League until the final, so no chance to review it. Miletic goes into the book for dissent.
66'
B. Natcho gets yellow.
Natcho is shown a yellow card for dissent. He wanted a penalty, thinking his shot hit McTominay on the arm.
Asano gets away from his marker and spreads play wide to Natcho, who attempts a shot that seems to hit McTominay straight on the arm! But the referee waves away their protests!
64'
Rashford is nearly away on the far side of the pitch and if Lingard picks a better pass, he would have been! But it's a poor attempt that's blocked.
62'
The idea here you'd presume is that Solskjaer wants to kill the game off by sending on their biggest attacking threats in James and Rashford. But a back five struggled to contain Sadiq, so just think what he might be able to do to a back four!
60'
M. Rashford enters the game and replaces A. Martial.
D. James enters the game and replaces A. Wan-Bissaka.
The second swap sees Martial make way for Rashford - he hasn't scored in the Europa League since April 2017, the winner in the semi-final first leg against Celta Vigo.
There's a double change coming for United. First, Solskjaer takes off Wan-Bissaka and brings on James. This will see United move to a back four with Jones at right-back.
59'
Sadiq with a pass into Soumah at the egde of the United box and he flicks it on into space between the centre-backs, but Tosic isn't on the same wavelength and the move breaks down.
55'
Here's Asano again, laying off to Sadiq who tries a shot, but Maguire is on his feet this time and blocks.
52'
Just as we said, don't rule Partizan out! They've put United under heavy pressure very early in this second half and Sadiq has been an absolute menace. Remember that it's just him leading the line against three United centre-backs as well!
50'
Soumah picks up a loose ball and runs directly at Jones towards the byline, but the centre-back stays on his feet and doesn't make the tackle as Soumah goes down. The referee spots what he was trying and it's a goal-kick for United.
48'
It's Natcho with a low shot from the set piece, but it's wide. He tries to confuse Romero with his initial body position, but the Argentine has it covered and follows the ball safely out of play.
46'
P. Jones gets yellow.
KICK-OFF! Partizan start the second half chasing a one-goal lead!
Sadiq is on the front foot immediately here and darts through the United defence, but Jones gets a foot in to bring him down. Free-kick awarded just outside the box. What can Partizan make of this?
Jones is shown a yellow card for his foul on Sadiq.
45'
HALF-TIME: PARTIZAN BELGRADE 0-1 MANCHESTER UNITED.
43'
Penalty goal scored by A. Martial for Manchester United!
GOAL! MARTIAL SCORES! 1-0 UNITED! He'd been a complete passenger up until this point, but keeps his cool from the spot and tucks his penalty away into the bottom-left corner to net his third goal of the season.
42'
It's Sadiq again, wide to Asano. He lines up an effort of his own that drifts just wide of the far post. That all comes from United giving possession away again - it's something they need to address before Partizan finally capitalise.
40'
OFF THE POST! It's Partizan this time threatening United, as top scorer Sadiq hits the post! What a brilliant attempt that was completely out of nowhere!
35'
Still Partizan on the attack and it's Tosic with another corner, but McTominay gets there first. Another corner to come.
Tosic opts for the short option again into Soumah, who tries to pick out Zdjelar for a long-range shot from outside the box, but it's well wide.
33'
Partizan are keeping the pressure up and Sadiq wins a corner. Tosic plays it short into Soumah and he manages to get round Mata - who was helplessly beaten - but Williams is covering and clears.
31'
And they have a free-kick now around 30 yards out from goal. It's Natcho lining up an effort and he floats it into the box, but Williams heads it clear.
28'
There's definitely something in this for Partizan if they play their cards right. United are in control of the ball, but there are structural issues in their XI that can be exploited and Sadiq and Asano, in particular, are already looking quite dangerous on the break.
26'
Asano show off his wonderful set of wheels - speeding right through the middle of United's midfield - but he can't keep hold of the ball once he reaches the next line and loses out.
24'
Partizan with a chance to break now - Soumah pouncing on a poor touch from Garner - but Jones tracks back and stops the move with a great recovery challenge. Soumah wants a free-kick, though!
22'
Here's Lingard with a lofted ball inside to McTominay at the edge of the box, but he swipes at his shot and ends up hitting it wide. He's clearly making the most of this midfield freedom.
20'
United's formation may have been listed as a 3-4-1-2, but it doesn't exactly look like it! There's a huge space between defence and midfield, Garner is often left on his own in the middle as McTominay pushes forward, while Lingard is dropping too deep to try and get on the ball. It's all too chaotic!
18'
They have a throw in Partizan territory now though, but there's a breakdown in communication from Wan-Bissaka and Partizan win the ball back.
14'
United with a free-kick of their own now - Mata and Garner standing over it. It's Mata to take towards McTominay at the far post, but he heads it into the ground and wide! A good chance goes begging!
10'
McTominay gives the ball away to Soumah and he feeds Asano out on the left, but a promising break is ultimately harmless as the former Arsenal player slices a shot well wide of the goal.
8'
Here's a chance for Partizan - Sadiq wins a free-kick in a decent position as Maguire mistimes his tackle. What can they make of this? It's Tosic to deliver, but Sadiq - the target - is flagged offside.
6'
It's scrappy at the moment with neither side really able to string together any passes. United seem a little overeager to attack, but they're lacking the poise and composure in midfield to pick out the right ball.
4'
Saidq now running through to collect Natcho's pass, but Romero rushes of his line to hoof it long - he makes a hash of it and ends up slicing it out for a Partizan throw in United territory.
3'
United in possession of the ball early on with Jones driving forward and trying to feed Lingard, but it's overhit and Partizan win a throw.
1'
KICK-OFF! United get the game started at the Partizan Stadium!
After a win and a draw each, both Partizan and United are tied on four points at the top of Group L, so this is a major opportunity for one of these two to pull away out front. But the issue for United is goals - just the one scored so far compared to Partizan’s four. That came all the way back in the first game, a laborious 1-0 home win over Astana.
SUBS: Igor Vujacic, Nemanja Stevanovic, Lazar Pavlovic, Rajko Brezancic, Filip Stevanovic, Aleksandar Scekic, Djordje Ivanovic.
MANCHESTER UNITED XI: (3-4-1-2): Sergio Romero; Phil Jones, Harry Maguire, Marcos Rojo; Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Scott McTominay, James Garner, Brandon Williams; Juan Mata; Jesse Lingard, Anthony Martial.
SUBS: Lee Grant, Victor Lindelof, Marcus Rashford, Fred, Andreas Pereira, Daniel James, Mason Greenwood.
Don’t go anywhere because the teams are out and kick-off is on the way!
Hello and welcome to the third round of Europa League group stage matches as Partizan Belgrade host Manchester United.
PARTIZAN BELGRADE XI (4-2-3-1): Vladimir Stojkovic; Nemanja Miletic, Bojan Ostojic, Strahinja Pavlovic, Slobodan Urosevic; Bibras Natcho, Sasa Zdjelar; Zoran Tosic, Seydouba Soumah, Takuma Asano; Umar Sadiq.
Don't rule Partizan out just yet! The Sadiq and Asano chances show that they can cause United some trouble - especially on the break - and United themselves had just one shot on target via the penalty spot. They're not down and out and did, in fact, come from behind to equalise against AZ Alkmaar in their first game. Definitely some fight in them then!
That's all from us for United's 1-0 win over Partizan. Thanks for staying with us and goodbye for now!
A win for United means they move top of Group L, with seven points from nine available. AZ's win over Astana in the other game today means Partizan drop to third. It puts a lot of pressure on the reverse of this game at Old Trafford next month for both sides - Partizan need a result to keep pace, while United can qualify for the knockout stages if they win.
