Nantes get this Europa League clash under way at the Stade de la Beaujoire. The tie is level after the first leg.
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the Europa League play-off second leg between Nantes and Juventus.
Nantes welcome Juventus to the Stade de la Beaujoire with the Europa League tie delicately poised after a 1-1 draw in Turin. Competing in Europe for the first time in 22 years, Antoine Kombouare's side qualified for the knockout rounds after finishing in second place in Group G, one point above Qarabag. The Ligue 1 outfit will be confident of achieving a positive result, losing just three of their 14 home games in all competitions.
As for Juventus, they dropped down to the Europa League after a disappointing Champions League campaign. The Italian giants won just one of their six games, losing the other five, and only finished above bottom side Maccabi Haifa due to having a significantly better goal difference. Juventus’ first Europa League game in nine years got off to a flying start when Dusan Vlahovic swept in the opener on 13 minutes before Ludovic Blas crashed in the equaliser for Nantes after the break.
NANTES (5-3-2): Alban Lafont; Moses Simon, Jean-Charles Castelletto, Andrei Girotto, Nicolas Pallois, Fabien Centonze; Moussa Sissoko, Florent Mollet, Pedro Chirivella; Andy Delort, Ludovic Blas.
JUVENTUS (4-3-3): Wojciech Szczesny; Alex Sandro, Bremer, Danilo, Mattia De Sciglio; Adrien Rabiot, Manuel Locatelli, Nicolo Fagioli; Angel Di Maria, Moise Kean, Filip Kostic.
NANTES SUBS: Remy Descamps, Evann Guessand, Samuel Moutoussamy, Marcus Coco, Ignatius Ganago, Lohann Doucet, Sébastien Corchia, Mostafa Mohamed, Charles Traore.
JUVENTUS SUBS: Carlo Pinsoglio, Mattia Perin, Dusan Vlahovic, Juan Cuadrado, Federico Gatti, Leonardo Bonucci, Daniele Rugani, Matìas Soule, Leandro Paredes, Samuel Iling-Junior, Enzo Barrenechea.
The difference in this game has been Di Maria. The Argentine has been excellent and changed the course of the game with a stunning strike out of nothing. His penalty then doubled the lead to give Juventus some comfort, but he has done so much more than score two goals. Allegri has given him a free role, allowing Di Maria to drift on either side of the pitch. This has made him impossible to mark, with the former Manchester United man dictating the play, bringing the wingers into the game. Nantes have done well and could count themselves unlucky to be two goals behind. After controlling the game, they found themselves behind after a moment of magic. Down to 10 men, the handball from Pallois on the line looked accidental. They have an almost impossible job on their hands to stay in the Europa League.
That's all for today, goodbye.
Next up, Nantes host Rennes in Ligue 1 with Juventus at home against local rivals Torino in Serie A.
